This week we are introducing you to two members of the Travis Family: youngest sisters Meysha and Rachyl.
First, Meysha.
Meysha is the youngest of eight siblings and known for her fiery red hair and matching sass. Meysha is six years old and her three favorite things are God, goats and her niece, Daisy (8 months old, daughter of oldest sister Jaklyn). Her least favorite thing is jeans!
According to Meysha, the best part about living and working on a farm is seeing [animal] babies being born and cleaning stalls, while the hardest part about living and working on a farm is when animals die. Her favorite animal is Joey (a goat). Meysha gets days off from farm chores on her birthday and when she's at school. Her favorite farm chore is milking and collecting eggs.
If she could have ANY animal in the world, Meysha would have a horse and cows because "they are the best!" In fact, when she's older she wants to be a cowgirl because she "loves cows".
FUN FACT: when she was 5 she became an aunt!
Her favorite
Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap product is the soap because it has goat milk in it and it helped her itchy skin. Her favorite Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap scent is
Monkey Farts because it smells good (this fruity blend is the #1 kid approved scent).
Speaking of Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap products, Meysha makes lip balm by melting oils and putting them in tubes and labels on them.
In closing, Meysha defines being a “farm kid” as "I like it, its great, I get up early to take care of all my friends".
Next up is second youngest sister, Rachyl, the founder and face of Rachyl's Goat Milk Soap. To learn more about how Rachyl started out, click here.
When asked her name, she responds "Rachyl with a Y" as her name is commonly misspelled. In fact, all of her siblings have uniquely spelled names. On May 5 be sure to wish Rachyl a happy birthday as she will be 15 years old.
Her three favorite things are turkeys, goats, and food while her least favorite thing is carrying water buckets. The best part about living and working on a farm is seeing animals every day, but the hardest part is waking up early.
Lucy (Dalmatian) is her favorite animal. Older brother Kelub drove to Georgia last year to get her for Rachyl's 14th birthday.
Rachyl wishes for a day off but farming is an every day job. In her free time, her favorite thing to do is go hiking. Her favorite farm chore is birthing baby goats because she is seeing the miracle of life that God has entrusted her with. The sibling she works with the most is older sister Jaklyn and they do "absolutely everything" together.
If Rachyl could have any animal in the world she would pick a camel to ride and use for milk, however unlike Meysha, this is not an animal found on the farm (currently).
Looking into the future, Rachyl wants to continue to run her business and be able to hire family and friends.
Much like Meysha, Rachyl's funniest farm memory is when she slipped - but in her case it was on mud and she fell in dog poop! The scariest thing that’s ever happened to her on the farm is when she was chased by an angry buck!
FUN FACT: Rachyl is awesome at fishing!
Her favorite Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap product is
Tea Tree soap because it helps with her acne and her favorite Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap scent is
Vanilla because "it just smells delicious!" While she helps make all of Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap products, she mostly makes the soap.
Her favorite part of Rachyl's Goat Milk Soap products is working is selling at farmer's markets because "I love my customers and I love explaining to people the benefits of goat milk."
Rachyl sums up being a “farm kid” as "every day is an adventure!"

I love your FB page and love your family! Hope to come and visit one day and meet everyone! I live in Orlando, Fl. And enjoy your Videos. I laughed when I read Rachyl (with a ‘Y’ often misspelled! I can relate! I spell my name Karmen with a ‘K’ because people spell it with a C…even my Relatives! Lol! I have a question…I was wondering it you have any Lip Butters available? I didn’t see any advertised? You all take care of yourselves and keep up the good work! Karmen
