Goat milk contains alpha hydroxyl acids which break down dead skin cells and leave new ones. This literally gently removes the dry, flaky skin and leaves a brand new layer. The fat content aids in reducing skin inflammation (think a firetruck putting out a fire) which makes skin appear less blotchy, red, and puffy. Goat milk cream is ultra-moisturizing which gives skin a dewy, supple appearance.
In addition to these natural super powers, goat milk includes numerous vitamins (including A, E, C, and some B vitamins), amino and citric acids, unsaturated fatty acids, and zinc. Unlike other goat milk soaps, we never use powdered or canned goat milk and do not add water. We milk our Nubian goats daily on our family farm ensuring that the milk we collect and use is the freshest, purest quality. Each individual bar contains over an ounce of our fresh goat milk combined with organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, and organic soybean oil. We use organic ingredients to avoid absorption of toxic pesticides which can cause break outs (for example – non-organic coconut oil is “comedogenic” which means it clogs pores and causes acne, yikes!). We don’t use harsh or toxic additives or fragrances so you can be sure that you are giving your skin nothing but the best!
