This was what we called " The Blue Barn." My dad built this barn for my older sister's first pony, Lady.
We then used it for our materny/baby barn. We have so many happy memories of baby goats jumping around, baby chicks growing their feathers and waiting to be moved to the chicken coop, and mommas delivering their babies. We recently just posted a video on YouTube of Jaklyn assisting Butterscotch in delivering her 3 boys. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnwdfsMaNP8
On March 10, 2014 the Blue Barn burnt down. it burnt down between 6:30 A.M. and 7:30 A.M. Over 50 of our animals passed away in the fire.
Our 4 pregnant goats: Candy Corn, Clementine, BJ and Dottie.
Our 6 baby goats: Ellie May, Emma Jean, Elvis, EJ, Ed and Einstein.
19 chicks,(2 escaped the blazes we named them Amber and Ashes)
15 puppies including my favorite "kisses",Bunnies, and my favorite rabbit, Perinwinkle and our cat Skywalker. We don't know why God allowed this to happen but we know that He is with us. We were all very sad but thanks to everybody that reached out to us weve been feeling alot better and some of the hurt is starting to go away.
